Graded Timber Products

As timber is inconsistent in nature, our products for the construction industry are subject to stringent grading standards to guarantee quality. CLS (Canadian Lumber Standard) machined and kiln dried C16 products are available in both treated and untreated formats. Our construction timber can be delivered or collected from our site in a range of dimensions and lengths.

Machined timber can be purchased in the following formats:

  • All timber provided to the trade industry is subject to the British Standard (BS)

  • C16 and C24 grading standards

  • BS standard batten

  • 2.4m to 4.8m lengths CLS

  • Stockists of 6.096 (20ft) 225mm x 75mm C24

Plywood

We are a stockist for a wide range of plywood, OSB Grade 3 panel boards suitable for a wide range of construction requirements including hoarding, concrete shuttering and internal house lining.

Specifications include but are not limited to:

  • Softwood shutter ply (9mm-18mm)

  • Hardwood ply (5.5mm - 18mm)

  • OSB grade 3 moisture resistant (9mm - 18mm)

Sawn timber For Construction

Our wide range of sawn timber products are produced at our own sawmill in Mid Wales ensuring we can oversee the complete process from start to finish.

Products include but are not limited to:

  • Douglas Fir beams

  • Balcony posts

  • Hoarding posts

  • Sawn carcassing

 

Cladding (Weatherboarding)

From authentic timbers to hi-spec machined products, PTP can deliver a wide range of naturally durable cladding solutions for domestic, commercial and industrial constructions. Our cladding timbers include Western Red Cedar, Larch and Douglas Fir.

A range of cladding profiles available including:

    • Loglap (including a thicker 50mm specification for log cabins)
